"Well, then maybe you should have voted for Ron Paul" is a phrase I heard from a discussion between two people talking about the Presidential returns from yesterday shortly after news that Romney was doing to suspend his campaign. I was surprised to hear it, and considering the current options in the campaign, I think I'm going to be hearing that phrase a lot more. The phrase was directed at a person who voted for Romney, not because she actually liked him, but because he was the most "electable" "conservative." There's an odd schadenfreude to that, if that can also be used to refer to one of those, "I told you so" moments.
