Attempts to Ban Menthol and Flavored Cigarettes in the US

The underlying message here seems bigoted. Legislation like this seems to say "Americans need to be taken care of" then goes on specifically to target Black Americans with "Black Americans need to be taken care of." This is ridiculous. Why can't we as individuals make our own decisions about cigarette use if we have a free country?
